The Depression Coping Questionnaire (DCQ) is a mean to determine the coping styles of depressive patients with their accompanying problems. The present study aimed to investigate the reliability and validity of DCQ published by Klienke. For translation reliability, Turkish and English forms of the test were giyen to the 3rd grade students of the English Language Teaching Department of Selçuk University, and a correlation coefficient was foundas 0.90. After giyen the Turkish form of DCQ to Turk nursery students, test-retest correlation was 0.76. The reliability of the test as measured by cronbach alpha coefficient was found 0.89. The factor analysis of the DCQ was determined on 315 students of the varied faculties of Selçuk University. Factor structur'e was revealed. The result showed that Turkish DCQ had enough validity and reliability.

Depresyonla Başaçıkma Ölçeği (DBÖ), hastaların çökkün duygulan ımları ve eşlik eden sorunları ile başaçıkma biçimlerini değerlendirme aracıdır. Bu çalışmada, Kleinke tarafından geliştirilen DCQ (The Depression Coping Questionnaire)'nün Türkçesinin güvenirliği ve geçerliliği araşurıldı . Çeviri güvenirliği için Selçuk Üniv. E ğitim Fakültesi İngilizce Öğretmenliği 3. sınıf öğrencilerine testin Türkçe ve İngilizce formlar ının uygulaması sonrasında korelasyon katsayısı r:0.90 bulundu. Ölçeğin Türkçe formunun Hem şirelik Yüksekokulu ö ğrencilerine uygulaması sonrasında test tekrar-test korelasyonu 0.76 idi. Testin cronbach alfa katsayısı ile ölçülen güverliği 0.89 olarak bulundu. Ölçeğin faktör analizi ise Selçuk Üniv.'nin de ğişik fakülte ve yüksek okullar ından 315 öğrenciye uygulandı. Faktör örüntüsü ortaya çıkarıldı. Bu sonuçlarla ölçeğin Türkçesinin kullan ılabilecek geçerlilik ve güvenirlilik özelliklerine sahip olduğu bulundu
