The relationship between mother and infant and its quality is one of the fundamental subjects of analytical perspective. Winnicott and Klein, who are of great importance to the development of post-freudian psychoanalysis, dealt with this subject, in part of their theories. Besides them, Bowlby, who is different from many analysts with his identity as an investigator, and Mary Ainsworth, who especially worked experimentally, conducted observation and research on the early period of mother and infant relationship and its quality. Here, in this article we review the attachment theory and its relevance in terms of psychopathology.

Anne-bebek ilişkisi ve bu ilişkinin niteliği özellikle analitik perspektifin odak noktası olan konulardan bir tanesidir. Post-Freudyen psikanalizin gelişmesinde büyük önemleri olan Melanie Klein ve Winnicott, teorilerinin bir bölümünde bu konuyu ele almıştır. Onların yanı sıra diğer analistlerden araştırmacı kimliği ile ayrılan John Bowlby ve daha çok deneysel araştırmalar yapan Mary Ainsworth de erken dönem anne-bebek ilişkisi ve bu ilişkinin niteliği üzerine çeşitli gözlem ve araştırmalar yürütmüştür. Bu yazıda bağlanma kuramı ve psikopatolojideki anlamı tartışılacaktır.
