Dermatoglyphic pattern in a total number of 52 children (39 males and 13 females) were compared with those of the control cases consisting of 250 males and 250 famales. The dermatoglyphic pattern on the fingertips showed no significant difference compared with those of the control cases on individual evaluation of fingertips. The N. fingertips of the left hand displayed an increase in the number of loop type der ınatoglyhics. The total ridge counts of the dermatoglyphis on the fingertips male children were decreased as compared with that of the corresponding control cases.

39 erkek ve 13 k ız toplam 52 korunmaya muhtaç çocuklar ın dermatoglifikleri, 250 erkek ve 250 k ız kontrol olgusunun dermatoglifikleri ile karşılaştırıldı. Olguların el parmak uçlarındaki dermatoglifik örnekler kontrollerle karşılaştırıldığında anlamlı bir fark bulunmadı. Parmak uçları tek tek de ğerlendirildiğinde sol elin IV. parmak ucunda ulnar ilmek tipi artmıştır. Erkek olguların el parmak uçlarındaki toplam çizgi say ısı erkek kontrol olgularınkine göre azalmıştır.
