Homelessness is one of the widely spreading social and public health problem in America and Europe today. This article is a review of the problem of homelessness, a field which attracts the increasing concern of mental health professionals also in Turkey. While examining the subject, it is obvious that homelessness in clearly a multimensional problem and that service strageties must reflect the multiple needs and varying characteristics of homeless people.

Bu yazıda, ülkemizdeki ak ıl sağlığı çalışanlarının giderek ilgisini çeken evsizlik sorunu gözden , geçirilmektedir. incelemeler sonucu, evsizli ğin çok boyutlu bir sorun oldu ğu ve uygulanacak tedavi stratejilerinin evsiz toplumun çe şitli gereksinimlerine ve özelliklerine uygun olmas ı gerektiği ortaya konmaktadır.
