Negative/positive distinction in schizophrenia have been studied extensively for ten years. Also, schizophrenic patients have been observed to manifest a variety of abnormal neurological signs. But the significance of neurological signs in schizophrenia is poorly understood. In part, this may reflect the marked variability in the methods of ascertainment in previous studies. We used the SAPS, SANS and NES for the assessment of positive and negative symptoms and neurological signs in schizophrenic patients. In this study, The relationship between positive/negative symptoms of schizophrenia and neurological signs in schizophrenia have been evaluated.

Şizofrenide pozitif/negatif ay ırımı son on yıldır üzerinde bir hayli durulan konulardan birisi olmuştur. Ayn ı biçimde nörolojik işaretlerin şizofrenik bozuklukta görülme s ıklığı, anlam ve önemi de oldukça araştırılmış ancak değerlendirme yöntemlerindeki değişkenlik nedeniyle elde edilen sonuçlar ı birleştirme imkanı bulunamamıştır. Bu çalışmada şizofrenideki pozitif ve negatif belirtiler SAPS ve SANS ile; nörolojik işaretler de NES ile değerlendirilerek pozitif/negatif belirtiler ile nörolojik işaretler arasındaki ilişkiler araştırılmıştır.
